Stratford First Scholarships
Overview: The Stratford First Scholarship is designed for eligible high school seniors who are new to Stratford University and enroll at Stratford University during the summer and fall terms following their high school graduation.
Scholarship Amount: Up to five recipients are selected at each campus each year to receive $10,000 to be applied toward tuition and fees. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Stratford scholarship, grant, or discount.

Stratford Extra Rewards Program
Overview: The Stratford Extra rewards is open to any new, current, reentry or readmit student to Stratford University. The Stratford Extra Rewards program allows an undergraduate student to earn tuition credit for each class completed at Stratford University towards an applicable degree program. Credit is payable at the time of graduation subject to program terms and conditions and can be applied to balance owed at graduation or be used to reduce student loan balance. Stratford Extra Rewards is available to first-time Stratford University students and to continuing students transferring 50% or less of their program requirements.
Reward Amount: $166.50 in reward credit earned for each class completed at Stratford University at the undergraduate level subject to program terms and conditions. AAS students can earn up to $3,330.00 and Bachelor student can earn up to $6,660.00 in credits. Credits are payable only at graduation and provided student participates in Smart Borrowing program, remains enrolled for the duration of the program and comply with other program terms and conditions. This program cannot be combined with any other Stratford scholarship, grant, or discount.
Application Deadline: The application must be submitted prior to the first day of classes for the first term in which the applicant wants to participate in the rewards program.

Stratford Guarantee
Overview: The Stratford Guarantee is opened to any enrolled student at Stratford University. The exclusive Stratford Guarantee helps ensure students’ success by giving students who demonstrated their best effort to attend and participate in class a second chance to retake that class at no cost* should they fail the first time. Students must have had 100% attendance and received a failing grade in the course to be repeated. The students may only take the failed course one time within the Stratford Guarantee program.
Award Amount: The value of the program varies based on the cost of the course to be repeated, but does not exceed the tuition cost of the class that participant retakes under this program. This program cannot be combined with any other Stratford scholarship, grant, or discount.
Application Deadline: The student must receive a written recommendation from the original instructor for the class for which they received a failing grade and approval of said recommendation by their campus president, prior to registering for the class for which the applicant would want to receive the Stratford Guarantee. Class must be retaken in the term immediately following the term in which the student received the original failing grade.
Application form: No application form exists as the written recommendation of the instructor and the approval of the campus president are the only approvals needed.
Stratford Culinary Competition Scholarships
Offered to winning team members who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Pro Start, CCAP, or Skills USA competitions in Virginia or Maryland.
Applications accepted year-round.
Scholarships must be used within one year.
Other Institutional Awards
Alumni Advantage Award: ALUMNI ONLY
Overview: The Alumni Advantage award is open to any student who upgrades to associate, bachelors or masters at Stratford University after graduating from another degree program at Stratford University or any US based College or University.
Award Amount: The value of the award is 15% discount on TUITION ONLY. Discount will not apply to Fees and non tuition charges. Degree must be started after you have graduated from Stratford University or any other US based institution of higher education. Can be used for program upgrades starting in term 3, 2018. Must remain continuously enrolled at Stratford University to remain eligible. This program cannot be combined with any other Stratford scholarship, grant, or discount. Application Deadline: The application must be submitted prior to the first day of classes for the first term in which the applicant begins the new program after having graduated from the previous program.

Professional Affiliate Grant
Overview: The Stratford University Professional Affiliate Grant is open to any new or readmitting student to Stratford University who enrolls in a degree program that is related to their current paid employment.
Award Amount: The Stratford University Professional Affiliate Grant is a 15% discount on TUITION ONLY offered to any qualifying student starting after Term 3, 2018 as a new or readmitted student. To be eligible, applicants must be currently employed in a paid position that is directly related to the degree program they enroll in at Stratford University in their first term of enrollment. This program cannot be combined with any other Stratford scholarship, grant, or discount. See application form for other terms and conditions.

Corporate Alliance
Overview: The Stratford University Corporate Alliance program allows an employee of a company that signed a Corporate Alliance program agreement to receive
Award Amount: The Stratford University Corporate Alliance award shall be in the form of a 10 or 15% reduction in tuition ONLY.
Application Deadline: The application must be submitted prior to the first day of classes for the first term in which the applicant would like to use the corporate alliance benefit and an updated employment confirmation form is needed each term thereafter.
Terms and Conditions: The tuition reduction received is based upon the agreed to discount rate contained in the agreement signed between Stratford University and the Corporate Alliance Partner subject to benefits provided to each company as contained in the agreement. The tuition reduction is valid so long as the employee remains employed by the Corporate Alliance Partner as certified by the employment verification document signed by a representative of the Corporate Alliance Partner. The employee is required to submit the employment verification document each term to Stratford University to confirm continued said employment. The tuition reduction ceases when the student is no longer an employee of the Corporate Alliance Partner or on termination of the Corporate Alliance agreement.

Private Scholarship Programs
Overview: Stratford University accepts private scholarships from foundations, service clubs, and other organizations. Examples of these programs used by Stratford students include culinary scholarship programs such as the scholarship from Careers in Culinary Arts (C-CAP) Culinary Competition, American Culinary Federation Scholarship Fund, Virginia Culinary Competition, Northern Virginia Culinary Competition, or Discover America. Award amounts, application deadline, terms and conditions and application forms will vary by program and are determined by the program administrators who should be contacted for specific details.
