On Campus Recruiting and Interviewing
Employers can post part-time, full-time, and internship positions on StratfordConnect, a full-service online platform that is free to use for employers, students, and alumni. Students and alumni peruse the job openings posted on StratfordConnectdaily. At any time, you can create an employer account and add current job postings (as many as you need). In addition, we offer access to our well-appointed interview rooms, which are available by appointment year-round. This is especially accommodating if you are interested in conducting multiple interviews in a day, need access to a professional setting, or are located out of state.
Career Services coordinates career fairs twice per calendar year. These are great opportunities for employers to meet and hire degree-seeking students. Some events highlight particular areas of study while other fairs are gauged to all majors. Fairs are marketed campus-wide and are often also open to the community. By creating your Employer account on StratfordConnect, you will be notified of all upcoming career fair events.
An employer can create internship positions that allow students to gain essential hands-on training while earning credit in their degree program. This is an effective recruitment tool to train and retain great employees. Internships are a requirement in several Stratford programs. You can advertise your internship on StratfordConnect.
Employer Spotlights
Set up a display at your local campus and recruit potential employees. Through on-campus recruiting, you are able to informally share information about your company, opportunities, and your application process. Bring application materials and collateral to share with our student job-seekers, or set up an Employer Spotlight workshop and present to students in a group-setting.
Guest Speaking
Career Services is always seeking speakers to present to students on a variety of topics, ranging from job search skills and professionalism to subject-specific workshops. If you have a presentation our students need to hear, we’d love to partner with you.
We highly value and often act on direct feedback from employers and alumni who have interacted with staff and students in order to continuously improve and innovate the recruiting resources we offer.
