Stratford Recieves Award at 41st Annual Military Culinary Arts Competition

Stratford University recently participated in the 41st Annual Military Culinary Arts Competition. The event was held at Fort Lee, Virginia and featured one of Stratford’s current Military students. Representing Stratford this year was Sergeant First Class, Randall Summerford, who was awarded a Bronze Medal by the American Culinary federation.

“This is the second year that Stratford has had the great pleasure to provide this service to our member of the Armed services and their exceptional culinary members,” said Military Outreach Manager Keith Evans. He added the achievement builds on the continued success of Stratford’s participation in this competition. “Chef Lichman and his team were recognized by the Quartermaster General last year. We’re growing in this community and we’re proud of it.”
