Alice Conway, CSEP, is the Director of the Event Management Program at Stratford University in Falls Church, Virginia. Ms. Conway received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education from The University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, completed all course work and comprehensive exams for a doctorate in Higher Education Administration, and received an MBA from Stratford University.
She is the founder and past president of The Greater Washington Chapter of ISES (International Special Events Society). She is the former president of ISEF, the educational foundation of ISES, and has served on the International Board of Directors of ISES, the local chapter’s Board of Directors, and was a founding member of the Search Foundation.
She has taught and lectured at universities internationally including those in Korea, the Philippines, Canada and Trinidad, as well as The George Washington University, The University of San Diego, Southern Oregon University, Temple University, and The University of Arizona and currently is an adjunct professor in the Master of Tourism program at the University of Barcelona.
In addition, she is a harpist, and is President of a special events management company, BB&C Productions, Inc, producing events for both national and international clients. She was nominated for Best Entertainment for her children’s theatre productions last year at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner. She has mentored and helped thousands of students around the world in pursuit of their careers in Event Management.
