Research Databases and eBooks

Stratford provides access to a number of subscription resources to provide you with a wealth of online materials. Click on the logo to access a service from campus. To access these resources off campus, click on the “Remote Login” link for the service you wish to use. Usernames and passwords can be found in your course syllabi or on Moodle (click “I want to” and select “Access Research Databases Remotely” from the dropdown menu).


The LIRN® Core Collection contains millions of articles, television and radio transcripts, photographs, video and audio clips, encyclopedias, ebooks and reference titles.

• A Business Module with ProQuest's ABI/INFORM and Research Library databases.
• A Medical Module with ProQuest's Health & Medical Complete™ and Nursing & Allied Health Source™.
• A Career and Technical Module that includes databases from both Gale/InfoTrac and ProQuest as well as an option to include Chilton’s Online.
• A Computer Science Module with Gale/InfoTrac Computer Database
• A Culinary/Hospitality Module with Gale/InfoTrac Culinary Art Collection and Gale/InfoTrac Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Collection.

For the password, go to Moodle’s homepage and click "I want," then select "Access Research Databases Remotely" from the dropdown list, OR contact your campus librarian for assistance.
