Satisfactory Academic Progress
The Office of Student Accounts has established the following policies and procedures stated to fulfill the requirements expressed in the Higher Education Act (HEA) as revised for the 2012-13 academic year. Financial aid recipients are expected to make reasonable academic progress to obtain a degree as a condition to be eligible for federal and institutional financial aid funding. A student’s entire academic history as recorded on their academic record with Stratford is reviewed as a requirement of time progression towards graduation, regardless of having received financial aid or not in the past for that course work. The new SAP standard will be monitored at the end of each quarter. There are two components to this review; both pace and qualitative measures. A student must meet both measures each quarter.
