Stratford University is proud to offer these programs and services to our Armed Service Member still serving or who have completed their military obligation. I can assure you every effort has and will be made to assist you with completing your educational goals while at Stratford. You have my promise. Why Stratford University!
Stratford University is approved for the training and education of Veterans. We are proud to be a military friendly school, and be part of the Yellow Ribbon program. Stratford prides itself on providing its students with a quality education with tools and knowledge to increase their capabilities and move forward to new challenges.
Stratford Degree programs are designed to meet the educational needs of the Military. Stratford University is affiliated with:

- Concurrent Admissions program (ConAP)
Does Stratford accept Transfer Credits?
Stratford University accepts transfer credit up to 75% for undergraduate and up to 50% for graduate degrees. Transfer credits are accepted from: AARTS, SMART, CCAF,ACE, DANTES, CLEP Exams as well as from other colleges and universities.

How long does it take to complete a degree program?
Stratford has accelerated programs- 15months for an AAS degree, an additional 15 months for a BS and another 15 months for a masters degree. Just think, you can complete all course work for all level of degrees in less than four years!

What about tuition?
Stratford is pleased to be a participant in the yellow ribbon program (Chapter 33). A veteran who qualifies for the yellow ribbon can be a full or part-time student with no out of pocket expense to them. In addition, if the veteran is eligible for a housing allowance, the allowance varies based on the zipcode of the campus they attend.
For the active duty serviceman who wishes to use TA, the university will honor the Military Friendly tuition rate of $750. 00 per class *
Stratford accepts those eligible under Chapter 30, 35, and 31. If additional monies are needed, they may wish to apply for student loans and grants.
What do I need to do to be accepted into a degree program?
- Undergraduate Programs – Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Graduate Programs– Must have at least a 2.5GPA

Stratford University arranges student housing for those who would like to live close to the campus. Under Chapter 33 Yellow Ribbon program, the housing allowance varies according to the zipcode of the campus where one attends. Our Student Services Department would be happy to assist you with this arrangement.
