Culinary Workshops

If you've always wanted to learn how to cook, but never knew who to ask, here's the perfect opportunity. Stratford University's Culinary Workshops offers first timers and experienced cooks alike the opportunity to learn a few outstanding recipes and to make some new friends while having fun on a Saturday morning. And we have special classes for couples and singles -- a great way to meet or to bond.

Stratford University cooking classes make great gifts for friends or family members who love to cook or want to learn how. You can purchase the class and let them pick the subject, or even better, you can come with them and share the experience. And don't forget that Gift Certificates are available! Just indicate how you want the gift card completed when you register online.

  • "You make cooking so easy. I'm no longer afraid to go into the kitchen." - George

  • "I've never had so much fun with food." - Amy

  • "Who knew my husband could cook? If you can teach him how to make me dinner, you can teach anybody." - Martha

  • "This is my third class this year. I feel great. I'm eating better. And my family thinks I'm amazing." - Diane

If you'd like to learn how to cook like the pros and have a blast while doing so, try one of our classes. You'll be glad you did.

Some courses are participation classes, which means students both prepare and sample. Other courses are demonstration classes, which means that students watch a professional cooking demonstration and then sample. All courses are on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM. Participation courses are usually $60 /person and demonstration courses are usually $50/person. Stratford also offers
Team Building Culinary Workshops as part of its business outreach program.

Registration is required, and we ask that you register at least one week ahead of the class date in order to ensure your spot in the class. You will receive a phone call or email confirming that your registration has been received. Classes are only offered at the Falls Church campus.
