The ISSS program draws from a comprehensive, up-to-date, global common body of knowledge that ensures security leaders have a deep knowledge and understanding of new threats, technologies, regulations, standards, and practices. Through this program, students will gain the knowledge and practical application strategies required for entry-level to mid-level positions in the IT security industry. In addition, students who complete the ISSS program will be eligible to sit for the CISSP certification exam, provided that they meet the professional work experience requirements for CISSP exam eligibility.

The Information Systems Auditor program provides students with hands-on experience with auditing processes (both manual and automated), utilities, applications, scripts, coding and other computer related auditing methodologies. Through this program, students will develop the knowledge and practical application strategies required to address and resolve issues of information security that maximize information systems audit control and information assurance. In addition, students who complete the ISA program will be eligible to sit for the CISA certification exam, provided that they meet the professional work experience requirements for CISA exam eligibility.

The Ethical Hacker Specialist program prepares students to assess the security of computer systems through the use of penetration testing techniques. The Ethical Hacker Specialist program will immerse students into an interactive environment where they will be shown how to scan, test, hack and secure their own systems. The lab-intensive environment gives each student in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and then be led into scanning and attacking their own networks, so no real network is harmed. Students then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system. Students will also learn about Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. In addition, students who complete the EHS program will be eligible to sit for the EC-Council ANSI-accredited Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification exam, provided that they meet the professional work experience requirements for CEH exam eligibility.

This course is designed to equip learners with the information security knowledge and skills required for IT professionals. Using CompTIA Security+ exam objectives as the framework, this course not only covers the fundamentals of information security but also takes an in-depth and comprehensive view of security of networks and computer systems. Students will learn various IT defense strategies as well as practical tools, tips and techniques to counter attackers. In addition, this course includes a pre-test for targeted learning and a post-test for CompTIA Security+ exam preparation.
