At Stratford since 1986, Mary Ann has been instrumental in the university’s growth, holding key positions throughout the organization as it has expanded to become a University system with more than 30 degrees through the Doctoral level and operating eight locations, including six in Virginia, one in Maryland and one in India. Mary Ann’s work has helped to create programs in health sciences, nursing, business administration, accounting, computer information systems, software engineering, computer networks and security, telecommunication systems, culinary arts and hospitality management. She also oversees the community relations program and most recently accepted an international award on behalf of the university from Nobel Laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel of Argentina and the PeaceJam Foundation for Stratford’s work to help youth in Fairfax County, Va.
