Virginia Beach: Faculty and Staff host talent show for Military Students

Virginia Beach campus invites their military students to a USO-style show

Who knew Dr. Hermann Bayer, Dean of Stratford University’s Virginia Beach Campus could play the harmonica? Or that Librarian Brett Hamilton could play guitar? And Professor Doug Young could sing? These were just some of the surprises at this year’s Veterans Day Celebration held at the Virginia Beach Campus back on Nov. 5.

The USO-styled show called, “Lights Camera, Stratford!” featured the combined efforts of faculty, staff, and students. “The success of this year’s celebration can be credited to everyone’s participation and support, “said Military Outreach Coordinator Ricky Allen. “We had a great time.”
