Stratford University Accepts Hero Award in Monte Carlo

Mary Ann Shurtz, executive vice president of Stratford University, and Carolyn Kroeger, student support officer, recently accepted an international award from the PeaceJam Foundation for Stratford’s work to help youth in Fairfax County. Being recognized with a Hero Award is one of the highest accolades for service in helping to drive positive change worldwide, and Stratford University is one of only five worldwide recipients this year. The awards are part of rhe PeaceJam Foundation’s “One Billion Acts of Peace” campaign.
