Enable America, Eaton Corporation, and Stratford University host a Job Seekers Workshop for Transitioning Navy, Veterans and Spouses
Enable America, Eaton Corporation, Stratford University, and participating employers present a Job Seekers Workshop for Transitioning Navy, Veterans and Spouses. This is an all-day event where participants check-in at 9:30 a.m. and attend various workshops throughout the day. The agenda also offers time for networking with potential employers and clinics on how to improve your job hunting game.
The agenda for the Job Seekers Workshop is as follows:
9:30 a.m. -- Arrival and Informal Networking
10:00 a.m. -- Welcome and Introductions
10:05 a.m. -- The Job Search: How to Find the Jobs
10:35 a.m. -- Marketing Yourself with the Cover Letter
11:05 a.m. -- Marketing Yourself with the Resume
11:35 a.m. -- The Interview: Making a Good Impression
Lunch provided by Olive Garden
1:15 p.m. -- The Follow-Up
1:45 p.m. -- One-on-One Job Coaching 3:00 p.m. -- Wrap-Up and Closing Remarks
This event will take place on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Stratford University: Virginia Beach, located at 555 South Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, VA.
