  • Become an eBay Powerseller
  •    Selling on eBay has become a favorite way for stay-at-home Moms to earn a few extra dollars. Some have become eBay Powersellers as their sales volume and income stream grew. eBay has even initiated health care as one of the benefits of being a Powerseller. eBay may just be the way for you to get rid of all that junk in the basement and have a little fun at the same time. Your junk may be another's treasure.

  • Track Political Money Trail with OpenSecrets
  •    OpenSecrets.org organizes public campaign contribution data in a database, searchable by candidate, donor, interest area or zip code. Check out who is contributing in your neighborhood or at work. This is a great site to explore, especially during these times of political maneuvering.

  • Mindstorms Robotic Invention System
  •    Unleash your child's creativity with the $189 Lego Mindstorms Robotic Invention System. You can create, build, and then program your robot. The Lego processor "brick" can even support Java. There are a host of books with plans and programs for a wide range of robotic functions. This is a gift that even Dads can love. And it may even keep the boys away from all those mind-deadening video games. This is a great idea....hope Santa is listening.

  • Brown finds Peace with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  •   UPS is testing a system that employs two competing wireless technologies in four of its sorting plants. Employees wear a bar code scanner ring on their finger that uses Bluetooth technology to transmit information to a wireless radio device clipped on their belt. The radio then uses Wi-Fi technology to relay the information to a central computer. The two competing 2.4 GHz technologies have co-existed in this test project surprisingly well.

  • New Google Search Tools In Beta Test
  •    Google, the number one search engine, has created three new search tools that are now in beta testing. Google is, of course, known for its innovative, fast, and effective method for ranking search results.

Google's Froogle is a search method to help the frugal find the best price on the Net. Google Viewer provides a slideshow of search results. Google's Webquotes provides third-party comments about each listing.
